God shows no partiality

Posted on April 7, 2007 by Fr. Jos+

I truely understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. – Acts: 10: 34

God opened the door for huamnity to enter in. Christ removed the blocks, rolled away the stone, and brought light into the darkest corners of the hidden caves of our lives through His resurrection. When God rolled away the stone that seperated mankind from God, God also made sure it is accessible to everyone from every nation as long as they fear Him, meaning they love him in their hearts as they knew him and do what is right.

God’s mercy and love is greater than that of man. Every human soul is given the same opportunity inspite of the fact that everyone is different. Through Christ’s resurrection God’s house became the house for everyone or anyone who wants to enter into it.

Year after year we learn how God opened the door to humanity. But year after year we tend to forget that God is keeping that door open to all on earth even those I dislike and I think less worthy. Isn’t it great to know that God won’t show partiality to someone else and keep me waiting! In am consoled knowing in God’s view I am as worthy of eternal home than anyone else out there. Now the only thing I have to do today is to make sure I open my heart to people around me therefore the escathalogical experience I am waiting for may become real here and now.

wish you a blessed and happy Easter

Fr. Jos

True Religion

What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? - Micah 6: 8 (The New Revised Standard Version)

Right Worship

Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. - John 4: 24 (The Message Bible)

Living Faith

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works?... If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? - James 2: 14-16 (NRSV)
