Bless your vehicle

Posted on January 11, 2007 by Fr. Jos+

Lord, thank you for the gift of this vehicle. Take me to my destination safe and back home happy with a thankful heart for having done your will. Bless this motor vehicle that it will work well.

Praying for myself I ask your blessing that no one will distract me while I am driving. Let me not confuse those who are trying their way on the road. Let me never forget the fact that it is the lives of others that I endanger when I am careless in my driving. Take control of my car or at least be my backseat driver that even when I don’t like it, you can get it straight. Thank you Lord.

True Religion

What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? - Micah 6: 8 (The New Revised Standard Version)

Right Worship

Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. - John 4: 24 (The Message Bible)

Living Faith

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works?... If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? - James 2: 14-16 (NRSV)
